Winmat for Windows 3.1 (141K) (8 Dec 00)

This program is incompatible with the Windows 95/98/ME/2K/XP/Vista version, meaning that neither program can open files created by the other. Because matrices can be transferred via the clipboard, however, this is not a serious difficulty.

8 Dec: A French version of Winmat has been prepared with the assistance of Marcel Druwé and David Lemay.

25 May: Fixed a bug that crashed the program during the computation of the trace of some real matrices.

4 Sept: In complex mode, the coefficients of the characteristic polynomial were not being displayed properly. Now they are.

10 Jan: The program now operates in real, complex, or integer mode.

14 Oct: Each matrix can be given its own background color.
